To continue seeing optimal progress in your quest for ultimate strength and fitness, you will need to employ recovery strategies.

A very simple thing you can do is to add magnesium flakes to your bath.

Magnesium is a mineral that has a long list of benefits:

  • Improve muscle function and strength
  • Relax muscles and nervous system
  • Sleep better
  • Improve appetite
  • Reduce fatigue
  • Reduce chance of cramps
  • Strengthen bones and minimise onset of osteoporosis
  • Reduce sugar cravings
  • Reduce risk of developing cancer
  • Improve insulin sensitivity
  • Improve detoxification
  • Improve heart function
  • Reduce depression or chance of depression

This list could go on, but if you aren’t already thinking you should be ensuring optimal levels after reading through that list, then I can’t really help you.

Magnesium will be of particular benefit to strength trainees, as it used within the energy department of your muscles, so its likely you are depleted.

and its extremely unlikely you will get enough from your diet, as our soil is also depleted of minerals to pass on.

So supplementation is necessary, and the best way to absorb magnesium is via transdermal application, hence why I recommend these flakes to put into your bath. (Transdermal means through the skin if you didn’t know).

Either add it to the bath or add some to warm water and spray it onto your body.

This stuff below is what I use and recommend.

Using this product, you will ensure excellent recovery between workouts and look forward to bath time even more!

If you’d prefer to take magnesium orally, I recommend this:
