So members of Bristol kettlebell club who are on our fat loss contest are doing really well and we have been supplying them with some great recipes.
Here is a great one using chickpeas that is quick and easy to make and will supply you with about 500 filling calories.
Ingredients
1 can of chick peas in water
1 medium onion
3 cloves of garlic
2.5 tsp of cumin
1/2 tsp of coriander
1/2 tsp of turmeric
1/4 of cayenne
2 tbsp of soy sauce
2 tbsp of water
1/4 can of coconut milk
Squeeze of lemon juice
Black pepper
MethodÂ
Fry the onion and garlic for 2 mins
Add the spices, soy sauce and water and fry for another 30-60 secs
Add the can of chick peas, fry for a further 5 mins
Add the coconut milk, fry for a further 1 min
Scoop out into a bowl, squeeze some lemon juice on top and sprinkle black pepper.
Enjoy!
